I would’ve laughed, if few years ago someone told that I could get paid to do what I enjoyed, while living the lifestyle of my dreams, i would not have believed that it was possible.
But here I am, doing exactly what I would’ve never believed possible. It just goes to show that you don’t always know what’s around the corner when you follow your bliss.
My online business allows me to have control over my life, travel the world and still being able to make money from anywhere around the world with internet access and a laptop.
I know you would love to make money online but the problem is that you don’t even have any idea how to start.

I do receive calls from people who come to this blog, read my post, get motivated to start an online business and they feel blogging is the exact online business for them.
The common questions I always get asked is, “How long will it take me to start making money from my blog, I heard the maximum is 6 months?”
Sometimes I wonder who even told them to go and start a blog in the first place. Some new bloggers just believe that after they have created a blog, post content for like 3 months, they will go and apply for Google Adsense and they will start making money online through their blog.
They have read the surface stories of many online entrepreneurs that said they hit 6 figures within 3 months of starting their blog and these new bloggers who don’t even know the true struggles of these guys are hoping for their kind of glory story.
You think that’s how people make money online and everyone else is not rich already?
Don’t fall for those shinning cars, money flying in the air, screenshots of bank alert and all that, it is meant to entice people like you so you can buy their products or sign up for their coaching course.
They will not tell you the real hard work involve because if you know, you will not even come near them.

When I do receive messages and calls from people on how they can start making money online because others are doing it and they also believe they can.
The first thing I asked do is what do you want to do online?
Clarity Is Key
You should have at least one online idea that you would like to venture into. There are 101 ways to make money online and some don’t necessary need a blog.
You can become a hacker, coder, content marketer, social media manager, freelance writer, digital marketer, website or blog designer,blogger or internet fraudster.
You can’t just walk up to someone and say you want to start making money online without first playing your own role by first knowing what you would like to do online.
So, here are my own questions;
· What would you like to do online?
· Is online business really for you or is it because of the present economy condition?
· What kind of sites do you always visit?
· What skill would you like to learn so you can channel it online and start making money?
· Is it writing, coding, blogging. 3D design or digital marketing?
The answers to these few questions serve as the ultimate guide to making money online.

After Clarity, What Next
After you have gotten clarity on the type of online business you are to venture into, it is now time to ask yourself ‘how do I intend making money from it?’
You will also need to answer questions like;
· Do you need training on your field of choice?
· Would you need a site for the business?
· If you will be selling anything, how would you market it online?
· Who are your buyers?
· Where will you get them?
· What about getting traffic?

All of us have all read those blog posts telling us we need to get a Facebook and Twitter account with a website and then add some software and BAMM!...money will start falling down from the sky. Within two weeks.
Some people who just came into the online business just think that because it is called online business, making money is very easy. Who told you that?
I remembered when I started this blog, it took me almost a year to be able to perfect everything and to attract traffic and build up my list.
You may think I am chilling presently, but I am still working on taking this blog to the next level. There is nothing like resting, the day you say you will no longer put in the work, that is the day your business start going down.
Becoming an online entrepreneur, have it in mind that you will have to miss some sleeping time, relaxation, hanging out with friends watching television etc.
For the first year if not two of starting your online business, you will be sleeping late and waking up early. As early as 4 am.
This is the sacrifice you will have to make for you to be able to make money online.
